The VPD approach

Microcement is not simply a colour from a catalogue. It is a continuous surface whose character changes with distance and light.

What we control

The visual result is the final layer of a series of decisions.

Substrate

Visible cracks, movement joints, material transitions, flatness and how the space will be used.

Scope and detail

Edges, corners, drains, junctions and decisions that require coordination with other trades.

Handover

The agreed character of the hand-applied surface and the information needed for its care.

Two ways to begin

We can work from an existing design or help work out the finish and installation details.

We work within the existing design.

You already have an architect or designer. We coordinate the information needed to carry out the work with the design author: layout lines, edges, junctions, surface character and sequence of work.

We help define where and how the surface is used.

If you need help with a surface decision, we agree the support individually. It does not automatically include a full interior-design, architectural or building-services package.
