Microcement in Warsaw.One surface,many layers.

Professional microcement application planned around the substrate, intended use and light — from the first assessment to handover of the finished surface.

A few photos, the room type and location are enough to begin. Size and substrate can be approximate or “I’m not sure”.

Microcement in brief

What is microcement?

A thin, hand-applied finish used to create a visually continuous surface on floors, walls, in bathrooms and on stairs. Its final character depends on the substrate, application, light and agreed protection.

01A continuous visual effect

02Made by hand

03Planned for its intended use

Microcement as a system

The finish is visible at the end. The decisions begin below it.

These four layers show how the visual finish is connected to the substrate, preparation and intended use of the space.

  1. 01Existing substrate

Stability, geometry, cracks, moisture and transitions between materials.

  2. 02Preparation

Preparation follows the assessed condition, intended use and critical details.

  3. 03Hand-applied surface

Colour, tool movement and character judged across the full plane.

  4. 04Protection and use

The solution and care guidance appropriate to the agreed application.

The substrate comes first

The visual effect comes last.

Whatever happens below the finish affects the surface above.

01

Stability

We assess load-bearing condition, cracks, movement and transitions between different materials.

02

Moisture

Site conditions and future use influence preparation and protection.

03

Geometry

Flatness, falls, corners and edges are resolved before the decorative surface.

04

Scope

After assessment, we may approve the substrate, specify preparation or recommend a different solution.

Material in motion

A large surface takes shape through the applicator’s hand.

Individual tool movements become one continuous surface at room scale. The footage shows a real VPD application stage.

Microcement cost

The same area. A different scope.

An open floor, a bathroom with many junctions and a surface over existing tiles may cover a similar area but require different work.

Project collaboration

We can work to an existing design or help work out the finish and installation details.

We coordinate the work with the architect or designer.

Working from the client’s design, we clarify layout lines, edges, junctions, colour, texture and sequence of work.

We help define the use, effect and necessary details.

When the surface decisions are still open, we agree the required support individually. A complete interior-design package is a separate scope.

Guarantee on completed work

up to 3years

The guarantee period is confirmed for the selected system.

The guarantee period may be up to 3 years. Its exact length depends on the selected system and materials used.

01

What we confirm

We set out the exact guarantee period and scope before work begins.

02

What it depends on

The selected system, materials used and the agreed project scope.

03

Where it is recorded

The conditions for each project are recorded in the individual quotation and agreement.

04

How to use it

The agreement sets out the reporting process and the guarantee procedure.

The guarantor is VPDLEVEL sp. z o.o. The guarantee does not exclude or restrict consumers’ statutory rights.

FAQ

Common questions.

Can microcement crack?

Microcement is a thin finish, so the condition and movement of the substrate matter. Before work begins, we assess visible cracks, movement points, joints and transitions between materials. A finish cannot solve an unstable substrate.

Can microcement be applied over tiles?

It depends on tile stability, adhesion, grout condition, cracks and the layers below. Photos help with an initial assessment, but the scope may require a closer inspection.

Is microcement suitable for a bathroom?

It can be considered for bathrooms, but the solution depends on the exact zone. We assess the substrate, preparation of wet areas, falls, drains and the details of the complete build-up.

How long does the work take?

Timing depends on the area, substrate, preparation, number of details and conditions on site. We confirm stages and timing for the specific scope.

How should microcement be maintained?

Care depends on the application and protective system. Follow the handover guidance, remove dirt regularly and avoid aggressive cleaning chemicals.

Does VPD provide a guarantee?

Yes. The guarantee period may be up to 3 years. Its exact length depends on the selected system and materials used and is confirmed in the individual quotation and agreement.

Initial assessment

Show us the surface.

An initial assessment starts with photos, approximate area, substrate information, location and timing — without guessing a price before we understand the scope.

Enough to get started

  • photos of the whole surface and its details
  • approximate area
  • substrate, or “I don't know”
  • location and preferred timing
You do not need to know the technical system or prepare a complete specification.
